Digital Bridge Celebrates Earth Month With E-Waste Drives Across Wisconsin
/Earth Day may be one day on the calendar, but at Digital Bridge, it reflects the work we do every day.
Throughout April, we are partnering with organizations across Wisconsin to host a series of employee e-waste drives that make it easier to recycle retired technology responsibly while expanding access to devices for those who need them most.
These efforts build on longstanding partnerships with organizations like Potawatomi Casino Hotel, Hydrite, Sage Legal Group, and Astronautics Corporation of America, all of whom trust Digital Bridge as their ongoing e-waste service provider.
Partners Putting Sustainability Into Practice
This month’s activity includes a range of employee and community-driven efforts:
Potawatomi Casino Hotel is hosting a monthlong employee e-waste drive throughout April
Astronautics Corporation of America hosted an employee drive on April 20 at its Oak Creek headquarters
Sage Legal Group, LLC is hosting its 3rd Annual Electronics Recycling Drive April 20 through April 27 at its Shorewood office, inviting the community to drop off used electronics for responsible recycling
Hydrite partnered with Digital Bridge on Earth Day, April 22, collecting electronics directly from employees on site
Each of these efforts helps ensure that retired laptops, desktops, tablets, and other devices are securely processed and either responsibly recycled or refurbished and redistributed to individuals and organizations in need.
“At Hydrite, sustainability includes responsibly managing technology throughout its lifecycle,” said Dave Schilz, IT End User Support Manager. “Participating in an employee e-waste drive is a straightforward way for our team to support environmental responsibility and secure disposal practices.”
One Program, Part of a Larger Mission
Employee e-waste drives are a powerful way to engage teams and make responsible recycling accessible, but they represent just one part of what we do.
Through employee drives alone, Digital Bridge and its partners collected approximately 4,000 to 5,000 pounds of electronics in 2025.
These events complement our broader work providing free, secure IT asset disposition services to organizations nationwide.
Since our inception, that work has resulted in:
More than 20 million pounds of e-waste diverted from landfills
More than 35,000 devices refurbished and rehomed
This is the core of our mission: keeping technology out of landfills and putting it into the hands of people who need them.
Powered by Partnership
“Earth Day reminds us that responsible technology stewardship is a shared responsibility,” said Michael Regione, vice president of sales and marketing at Digital Bridge. “We are grateful for partners like Potawatomi Casino Hotel, Hydrite, Sage Legal Group, and Astronautics that trust us as their ongoing e-waste service provider. Their support helps us keep technology out of landfills and put refurbished devices into the hands of people who need them.”
